This web page was created September 22nd, 2006, and is continually updated. Wee will continue to adapt this web page
until it reaches the quality you deserve and wee expect.
Wee added a "Wee Bones To Chew" web page to capture several additional photos of the dogs wee are selling.
Call on the telephone and ask us questions; our goal is to help you get the best dog for YOU, even if that dog does not
come from our kennel.

CONTACT INFORMATION
Cell (304) 534-0696
For the interest of our time, please, PLEASE, give us a telephone call rather than an e-mail. We're a large family continually
at home because we homeschool four children, chase a preschooler, and conduct accounting and dog business from home. In our
spare time we garden and serve the community, church, family and friends.
I type 94 wpm but I speak 160! And because I want to give you information so you make a sound decision you won't regret,
I will be available for phone calls almost every single day and almost all hours.
Information cannot be communicated clearly in e-mail form without a LOT of thought, effort and rewriting time. An e-mail
might be great for a quick note, but we use the telephone to communicate and we can call you back long-distance on our nickel.
YOU are our priority. Our household makes haste to respond quickly to your phone call. And you can always recall repeatedly
should you wish to do so, we certainly don't mind.

Planning to breed? You need to read this.
We have a fabulous Chihuahua breeding plan which incorporates gentle line-breeding using Great Grandparents, Double-Greats
and Triple-Great Grandparents between our three males. Wee are pulling on the Hurd names, Ouachitah names (including Ouachitah
Beau Chiene, ROM X, and his brother Ouachitah Kodiak) and a few other Chihuahua ole' timers.
Once you study the pedigrees and the dogs' conformation, I am sure you will agree that these dogs combined make a fabulous
breeding program either standing alone in the traditional colors or when bred into the merling genetics. Our merle lines
are separate from our traditional lines, as are our brindle lines. If merle-free or brindle-free genetics are important to
you, let me know that at the start.
Wee strive to produce Chihuahua pets and breeders which conform to the Chihuahua breed standard. As such, wee sell ALL
our AKC'd dogs with AKC papers but marked as "limited". This limited status would ONLY effect dogs being used for
breeding or show purposes, and would, in no way, effect a non-breeding pet.
There is an additional $300 charge for breeding rights because we sell our breeding dogs with as much background information
as we can gather, passing that information along with our breeder stock. We support the breeders' rights to obtain breeding
stock which matches their criteria for their kennel and we support their right to not get a problem introduced into their
kennel because of inattentiveness or careless handling procedures.
Wee are not "experts" and don't purport to be. I am not a geneticist, nor a scientist. I am a homeschooling
mother with common sense and with a business background. To cover all bases, we provide the information wee see and discover,
and provide multiple photos to prove progeny and characteristics. It's up to your own eye to discern whether we are telling/seeing
accurately. Should you want to "see" the ancestors, wee will set up an appointment to see the males and females
involved. You can watch them walk and interact.
Under NO circumstances do we allow people into our kennel, other than our vet, her staff, AKC and immediate family members.
This was our vet staff's recommendation due to cross-contimination of diseases and parasites (fleas and mites and parvo mostly)
and is a sound practice due to the high competition and name-bashing common to humanity.
If necessary, we will "cull" any dog bringing an unwanted "flaw" or health issue to the breeding program.
I recently culled a male because his brindle would have interfered with the merle genetics, his one-time breeding indicated
he did not bring consistency to leg lengths, and his legs remained tall and thin rather than maturing. He brought a fabulous
head and chest to the table, but that wasn't enough.
And I am culling a female who produces more overbites than I am comfortable with. While most breeders would have kept
her with just reducing the price of the over-bitten puppies she produced, I can't send that characteristic into the breeding
stock and I can't produce that many over-bites. I have to live with my conscious.
Because of the other excellent qualities this female offers, I am keeping a puppy from that breeding, hoping to breed
away from that characteristic, and will tell potential breeders of my findings. Usually, breeding several generations will
overcome that over-bite problem. But should it continue, I would cull the entire line, if necessary.
All of these costs are involved in the $300 extra fee for breeding rights. Ultimately, it is up to you to discern if
the puppy you are considering will fit into your program and up to me to give you the information I see. I aim to do just
that. Objectively.
When a dog has been proven by enough litters to go beyond "hinting" at what he will provide, comparing his progeny
with consistent-mates, then he will be "proven", in my mind, and I will tell you what I see. But that takes AT
LEAST six different mates and, of that, at least two of those have to be with mates who consistently produce the same type.
After around ten mates do I consider that proof enough to confidently say what the dog produces.
There's no sense in junk science.
During 2008, I have several Rocket daughters which should be bred to Timmie producing Rocket/Timmie progeny. I have several
Timmie daughters being bred to Rocket which should produce Timmie/Rocket progeny. And I have bargained for an additional
male to compliment Rocket and Timmie's pedigree and expect him to show up in 2008. These dogs will be used to reinforce traditional
colored Chi's, brindle Chi's and merled Chi's, all three lines.
I say all of this to say that I can provide pedigree information to coincide with your dogs or suggest how to put these
genetics together for your benefit. I can recommend a couple of male/female combinations from this kennel, should you like
that, or steer you towards your own goals.
- I am honest. I have photos and information to back up what I think. But YOU are responsible for the decisions you
make for your kennel. There might be factors I didn't take into account. I can tell you what I see. You take it from there.
I won't take responsibility for the "I don't know what to do, Sarah, you decide for me."
- I can recommend something but there are always the genetic "flukes" involved which pull on unfavorable genetics,
even in the best of pedigrees and dogs.
- No dog is perfect. We can't assume that two parents who look fabulous will automatically produce that perfection.
We all take risks with every dog we choose. You assume that risk when you take a dog from us.
- I will NOT sell any female expected to be four pounds or under for breeding. And it is always better to use a 5 or
6 pound female. Males of any size can breed and don't necessarily reproduce themselves. They usually produce what's behind
them more so than what they themselves are. But their size is an indicator of what they will produce.
- Chihuahuas do not yet have consistent bone sizes. It might be true in Labradors that large paws would indicate a larger
dog, but it isn't true with Chihuahuas which have various bone sizes.
- Rocket's puppies frequently don't get as large as the weight chart says. It is best to take a 4 1/2+ pound (expected
weight female) from Rocket, just in case your dog becomes too small to breed.
- You are charged $300 for breeding rights, non-refundable.
- Deposits are $100, non-refundable, unless the dog is $1000 or over, which requires a $200 non-refundable deposit and
1/3 down.
- On a couple of occasions, we have had a person look at another dog and say, "I want THAT dog.", when its'
sale has been under discussion with another person. It then becomes difficult because nobody has placed a deposit in our
hand. Under these circumstances, we will attempt to contact anyone who has said they are sending a deposit and, in many cases,
even those who were merely discussing it with us. But should that phone contact or Instant Mail fail to produce immediate
results, we would sell that puppy to whomever has the deposit in hand first.
MANY are the people who promise to send a deposit and never do. Many are the sales we lost because a deposit was
promised, the newcomer wanted the promised dog and was turned away, and the dog didn't have a home for a few months.
Communication is the key. Please contact me to leave phone numbers, Instant Messeger and E-mail information if you
are seriously looking at a dog.
WeeSmall Pomeranians

Wee are acquiring three female Pomeranians which should produce a variety of colors, one of which is currently producing for
us. Because wee produce a limited numbers of Poms, if you are looking for any particular color, it's a good idea to give
me your contact information ahead of time so I can let you know when a potential match arrives.
Please let me know if you are looking for a particular color so I can e-mail you when wee get a litter.
