WEE ARE EXPECTING SIX LITTERS BETWEEN ARPIL 9 THROUGH MAY 14, 2008, AS FOLLOWS:

Inu and Touchdown:
Inu is a Timmie daughter, bred with Rocket's son, Touchdown, and expecting their first litter ever, mid- to late-April. Wee are quite excited to see this litter born and are expecting smaller puppies.

Ellie and Timmie: BORN APRIL 17, 2008.

Bridget and Timmie:
Bridget and Timmie are expecting their litter April 24th. Wee are expecting quite a few puppies from Bridget, with one or two merle'd puppies in this litter. In the past, Bridget has produced orange, white with blue spots, and fawn, as well as any number of other colors. One of them is usually merle'd.

Dottie and Rocket:
Dottie is bred with Rocket, and expecting somewhere around May 11th. Dottie usually has quite small puppies with Rocket, and one is usually merled.

Carise and Timmie:
Carise, Dottie and Rocket's daughter, is also expecting. Carise and Timmie are expecting puppies around May 15th.

Nine of our puppies have grown to breeding age and should begin breeding this season. These are Rocket or Timmie daughters and wee are very pleased to breed the Rocket daughters with Timmie and the Timmie daughters with Rocket, producing the first of the Timmie and Rocket puppies. Most of our females got a "rest" this Fall, wee will restart everybody in the next few months, making quite a few quality puppies in 2008.

POTENTIAL ADULT BREEDERS FOR SALE IN 2008/2009:

In 2006/2007, six of our females were bred with either Timmie or Rocket. Wee kept eight of those who will be of breeding age during 2008. Rocket daughters will be bred to Timmie and Timmie daughters will be bred with Rocket. Rocket downsizes quite a bit and Timmie shapes these girls FABULOUSLY. That is NOT to say that either male is inferior in ANY way, we're discussing their main points.

2008 should bring more puppies than prior years. And the potential quality of a Timmie/Rocket or Rocket/Timmie daughter is exciting!

I noticed in another kennel that 35 females with 8 males required three hours a day for one to two people. We have placed a limit on our kennel and have four helpers, so our work time is greatly less than 3 hours a day. To achieve our self-imposed LIMIT, we will be replacing the adult females with Rocket/Timmie daughters which leaves adult-aged breeding females to sell. Those females would go well with a Rocket/Timmie son, should you decide to do so.

Wee have outcrosses and distant line-breeding, with only one in-breeding who will not be sold to a re-breed home.

If you're considering breeding, you might want to contact me about purchasing adult-aged females to coordinate with the male(s) of your choice.

When we chose our dogs, wee chose dogs with pedigrees that work together, pulling on gentle line-breeding in the fourth through sixth generations. Larger females do not necessarily produce large, it depends on their genetic make-up.

With that in mind, we have done very well to downsize our puppies, without in-breedng, having six to eight pound mothers producing 4 and 5 pound puppies regularly. You can choose something which works well for you with a little planning.

There should only be about eight adult breeders sold in 2008/2009 and coordinating them with the puppies I sell, would be easy if you take time to think things through now with pedigrees in hand.

If you are thinking about purchasing an experienced adult breeder, please let me know now. Trying to advertise a "breeder" for re-breed sale or for pet home would be more hit-and-miss than I care for. And if you let me know ahead of time, I can place you on a first-come, first-serve basis.

CONTACT INFORMATION

Cell (304) 534-0696

For the interest of our time, please, PLEASE, give us a telephone call rather than an e-mail. We're a large family continually at home because we homeschool four children, chase a preschooler, and conduct accounting and dog business from home. In our spare time we garden and serve the community, church, family and friends.

I type 94 wpm but I speak 160! And because I want to give you information so you make a sound decision you won't regret, I will be available for phone calls almost every single day and almost all hours.

Information cannot be communicated clearly in e-mail form without a LOT of thought, effort and rewriting time. An e-mail might be great for a quick note, but we use the telephone to communicate and we can call you back long-distance on our nickel.

YOU are our priority. Our household makes haste to respond quickly to your phone call. And you can always recall repeatedly should you wish to do so, we certainly don't mind.

Wee are acquiring a couple of female Pomeranians which should produce a variety of colors, but only one is currently producing for us. Because wee produce a limited numbers of Poms, if you are looking for any particular color, it's a good idea to give me your contact information ahead of time so I can let you know when a potential match arrives.
