"The best laid plans of mouse and men" was a quotation I learned from my Dad who would occasionally state it in referring to man's best laid out plans not working out the way he planned, though he thought the plans out thoroughly.

More modernly put, "Plans, Purposes, and Pursuits" is a book by Kenneth Hagin which describes that mankind can have his own lofty plans taking us to the highest heights, but God has his plan, which, when followed, will lead you to doing far, far better than you could ever do on your own.

When he captured my heart at age nineteen, I discovered a God who intimately cared for all of humanity, that humanity so desperately misunderstanding God's ways. This God healed my intestines, hearing, kidneys, soul and even my physical brain. Humanity throws off God's rules calling them "old fashioned" or "religious", yet they miss the entire thing God tells them...that he loves them and wants to take care of them.

God healed my soul from the deepest despair a person could feel, and brought me far away from poverty and abuses. When he says we are "a new creation", he wants to literally make us that. It's not his hand stopping it, it's ours. We make our own plans and forge our own ways when his ways are far better'er than ours.

I would never have been a dog breeder, except that it was his plan. And I can see his blessing on it, bringing quality, understanding and excellence into the goings on of this kennel.

When God blesses something, he really does it well, as long as we let him. I, for one, plan to get out of the way and let God do his part.

When you have such a radical life change from a God who heals your soul from all sorts of abuses and your body from kidney damage, intestinal damage, hearing loss, and brain damage, you want even more to follow his "Plans, Pursuits and Purposes".

This page is dedicated to following the growth of a few of our first generation Chihuahuas. It can give you a feel for how they grow as they mature. I hope you enjoy the page as much as I have enjoyed the full life my forty-four years have brought me.

And I'm just getting started!

DeKAY:
This is deKay at 9 weeks. An impromptu photo, she ran all over the desk. I thought it would be a good opportunity to compare her body size to typical household items; and what better items but a computer keyboard, monitor and various pencils you might have around you at this moment!

deKay is scheduled to be 3 1/2 pounds as an adult and is a beautiful colored merle Chihuahua. She is Dottie and Rocket's daughter and a very sweet face. Wee'll be fattening her up with good nutrition and vitamins to increase her size for breeding. Wee'll see if wee achieve THAT goal!

The photo to the right shows deKay at 6 months of age. She's robust and very confident, trusting and extremely pleasant.

She never "fattened up" the way she was supposed to so we traded her and two other Chi's for a $25,000 addition to our house. We provide the Chi's and the supplies, and the addition goes up adding an approximate value of $25-30,000 to our house!

The Chihuahuas will take the pool hall, media room, kitchenette and spare bedroom while Loring and I get a huge bedroom with all the fancy amenities!

Our old, country house is on a "ridge" of land between two ridges in the West Virginian Appalachian foothills. The valley to one side of our house has a small town laying quietly in its' folds while the other valley on the other side gives way to a ridge filled with steep banks, foxes, deer and coyotes and all kinds of wild animals we love to watch. (Even the raccoon which tried to get into our bathroom window from the roof top! Time to cut down that tree.)

With this addition, wee'll open up the view to this wild scene of beauty to humans and Chihuahuas alike!

I grieve to lose deKay. But I know where she's going! And I will get an older sister from her mother and father.

KIKI:
Below is a brindle female 2 1/2 weeks older than deKay but scheduled to be an adult weight of 5 pounds. You can compare sizes between a dog expected to be 3 1/2 pounds (deKay, above) and one expected to be 5. This little female is Pearl and Rocket's daughter whose head is shaped like her mother, Pearl...(((I prefer shorter noses))).

PALA:

Pala is a fawn merle female from Rocket. Photo'ed at 11 1/2 weeks, she also took her mothers' head and pleasant personality, the same as Kiki, but they have great potential with Rocket as their father and Timmie as their mate. Pala and Kiki should make plenty of beautiful quality merled puppies, which IS the goal.

CONTACT INFORMATION

Cell (304) 534-0696

For the interest of our time, please, PLEASE, give us a telephone call rather than an e-mail. We're a large family continually at home because we homeschool four children, chase a preschooler, and conduct accounting and dog business from home. In our spare time we garden and serve the community, church, family and friends.

I type 94 wpm but I speak 160! And because I want to give you information so you make a sound decision you won't regret, I will be available for phone calls almost every single day and almost all hours.

Information cannot be communicated clearly in e-mail form without a LOT of thought, effort and rewriting time. An e-mail might be great for a quick note, but we use the telephone to communicate and we can call you back long-distance on our nickel.

YOU are our priority. Our household makes haste to respond quickly to your phone call. And you can always recall repeatedly should you wish to do so, we certainly don't mind.

Wee are acquiring a couple of female Pomeranians which should produce a variety of colors, but only one is currently producing for us. Because wee produce a limited numbers of Poms, if you are looking for any particular color, it's a good idea to give me your contact information ahead of time so I can let you know when a potential match arrives.
